Dear Chuck:
To say that Timothy Fidge & Co couldn’t have successfully closed its doors without Charles Frey & Co is an understatement. Our concerns were that of dealing with unfamiliar low aquality stock, the appearance of a tacky Going Out Of Business Sale, and lack of control. As an AGS store, we wanted to go out in style. We had been doing custom work for 31 years, and we wanted to end our business with our pride and dignity still intact.
To begin, the fill in merchandise complimented our inventory. Any pricing questions were dealt with ina very professional manner whether it involved communicating with you, your fil-in vendors, or our sales associate talking directly with our customers. We never felt we were lowering our standards as far as fair pricing, and providing the customer with a quality piece. All questions were handled beautifully with, David Woolsey; the sales associate you assigned to us for our liquidation. David was never pushy, and always provided us with detailed daily reports. He was always available for questions whether it was on the job or during his time away from the store. By the end of our two – month liquidation, customers thought David was a regular member of our long time sales staff. I might add the handling of advertising, obtaining the business license, and signage was a breeze since your office staff and David took care of that aspect of the liquidation.
All in all, it was a very positive experience. If we had it do all over again, you would definitely get the job!
On a personal note, I have to say I cried the day David left as I felt like I was losi ng my best friend, and a real champion for our goal of a successful Going Out Of Business Sale.
Sincerely,
Marilyn Fidge
