I am sending this letter to you on behalf of all of the members of Stone’s V, LLC regarding the recent Going Out of Business Sale for Stone’s Jewelers conducted by your firm. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for everything you have provide d us in making this sale a complete success. With your help, the end result of the sale exceeded even our most aggressive projection with total sales just under $2.5 million dollars!
Stone’s Jewelers was an institution in the City of Milwaukee for 78 years selling a variety of jewelry and luxury items to the public in multiple locations, and as you know, our goal for the sale was not only to maximize total revenue and profits, but to ensure that the sale was conducted in a dignified and first class manner. Your skills and technical abilities in creative advertising ensured we were able to achieve both of these goals, and I can tell you the Stone family couldn’t be happier with the result of the sale.
What truly impressed me the most about you was your knowledge and experience in nearly every aspect of running a GOB, including promotion and advertising, bank financing, sales floor tactics, landlord and lease concerns, sales margins, and even legal issues such as ensuring compliance with local laws governing these types of sales. You truly were an asset to our deal and what you brought to the table was well worth the commission you received for your services. We would also like you to know that your associate, Jim, who ran the sale on site for us at multiple locations, was exactly what we were looking for and clearly was a key component in helping ensure the success of the sale. We are all convinced that the sale could not have been as successful as it was without the hard work and dedication of Jim, you an d the rest of your staff.
I can honestly tell you in my line of workI meet a lot of different people that are good at telling others whatever they think they want to hear, but it’s nice to finally meet someone like yourself that can not only talk the talk but walk the walk.
