I am writing to let you know how very pleased I am with the outcome of our retirement/going out of business sale. The results exceeded our most optimistic expectations and we are both personally and financially rewarding. Until it actually transpired, I did not believe we actually could “sell down to the bare walls” and not have to liquidate the majority of our merchandise for pennies on the dollar.
It was very important to us that the sale be conducted with dignity and in good taste. After fifty-four years in business we wanted to exit with style and grace. You did a wonderful job in this respect. Your ad-vertising campaign was aggressive without being brash or overbearing, and elicited many positive comments from our customers. You also made an excellent choice in designating Steve as our sale supervisor. His positive attitude, work ethic and relaxed temperament fit in beautifully with our staff and customers alike.
I feel you and your company actually listened to what we had to say and what we wanted rather than simply trying to sell us a preconceived agenda. Other companies we interviewed seemed to take a “cookie cutter” approach to the project. You were willing to individualize. Without hesitation I would highly recommend your company. Keep up the good work!
